Detailed Job Description - General Summary:
Sell top quality pest management services at productive rates within competition considerations. Support customer service with high quality interface. Fully utilize Sales & Marketing Plan.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
SALES
? Create strong personal selling plan; develop command of assigned sales territory; demonstrate high quality territory management.
? Implement the company's Sales and Marketing Plan daily. Keep accurate records; help train new sales representatives; implement price increases.
PROPOSAL WRITING
? Make frequent inspections; prepare estimates and submit professional quality proposals in timely manner.
? Write and present compelling reasons to use our services; submit proposals and networks to stay abreast of activities in the market.
CONTACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
? Use system to maintain high quality and quantity of daily/weekly/monthly activity. Be punctual with customers and with co-workers.
? Follow-up with prospects in a timely manner with high achievement.
? Maintain good balance and volume of prospects.
INTERFACE WITH MARKETING (TELEMARKETING LISTS/CALLS)
? Provide feedback/updates to telemarketing prospect list, support direct mail and other marketing projects.
SERVICE AND CUSTOMER RELATIONS
? Represent company in service situations, key customers, etc.
? Advocate internally and externally, for both company and customer.
? Support account management; work with Technicians and Service Managers as needed.
TECHNICAL
? Maintain service "product" knowledge to the extent needed to sell quality service and represent the Company with accuracy and integrity.
? Effectively utilize IT, hardware, and software programs used in the Company, and coach others.
Basic Qualifications:
Strong outside business-to-business sales experience preferred, but not essential.
College degree preferred.
Must be persuasive, persistent and be a good listener.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel by air to conduct business in different locations.
Valid driver's license.
