Communications Sales

Position Description: A leading technology and communications company for 60 years, with 11 branch locations around the state of Iowa has immediate needs. We are currently seeking a top-performing Communications Sales Consultant to help expand our commercial, industrial and government sales out of our Des Moines branch. This professional will sell wireless RF communications and other technology solutions to Central and Southern Iowa markets. Our product line includes two-way radio systems and associated infrastructure, security/surveillance/CCTV/alarm/access systems, EMS vehicle equipment, wireless WAN (wide area network) solutions, repair & maintenance services, and more.

Position Requirements:

Experience. 2+ years of successful business-to-business, consultative sales. Technical sales experience is a plus. If you havent sold b-to-b in a consultative role, do not apply.

Exceptional work ethic. This outside sales role entails a lot of freedom and not much direct supervision. You need to be committed to the daily disciplines and activity levels that will bring you success.

Entrepreneurial Spirit. You manage your accounts and territory like it was your own business. Also, you like a smaller (but not small), family-owned business atmosphere where you can realistically make an impact, rather than a large, impersonal corporate one where your voice is seldom heard.

Compensation Competitive base salary plus a generous commission and bonus plan. $60-$80K per year is very possible in the first year. With experience, $100,000+ is attainable for the right individual.
