Consultative Sales Executive

A custodial services and facilities maintenance provider operating in 26 states with over 100 years in the industry is seeking a Consultative Sales Executive to be based in our Kalamazoo, Michigan office. Our company specializes in providing solutions that are tailored to our customers needs.

 

Position Summary:

This ?business-to-business? consultative sales professional should be able to develop high-level relationships within targeted prospect accounts as well as identify, develop and follow-up with their own prospects in order to generate profitable sales volume through direct interaction with the customers.  This is a consultative sales position focusing on selling solutions with our operational teams delivering these solutions / services.

 

Responsibilities: Responsible for business development, primarily by identifying and communicating opportunities for new business. Assesses client needs and develops consulting proposal for the delivery of cost effective services that provide value to client's business.  Utilize consultative sales skills to market solutions to a wide range of customers and markets. Participate in various presentations, client contact meetings, vendor and team meetings to facilitate, coordinate and present operational and technical solutions to prospective and existing clients. Work independently and with our internal team to develop contact lists and prospect new accounts.

 

Skills / Experience:Experience in consultative selling. Excellent organizational skills. Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including communicating ideas and effectively to diverse audiences, small and large.  Ability to close the sale by addressing customer concerns - consistently moving the customer towards commitment. Conduct needs analysis, write proposals, prepare and execute on-site presentations. Skilled and comfortable with use of personal computers and software tools such as MS Office applications, (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook).
