Consumer Electronic Inside Sales Representative

SYNNEX Corporation is seeking strong sales leaders to become part of our Consumer Electronics Team! Put your knowledge of home theater, audio/visual, security products and digital video to work in a challenging and dynamic field. Calling on a diverse group of customers all across the nation, our Sales Reps achieve multi-million dollar sales goals. Candidates should have sales experience (retail or commercial sales), preferably in the electronics field, with degreed candidates preferred.
Job Summary
Under general supervision, this is an Inside Sales Position focused on aquiring and developing customers in the Consumer Electronic, Home Theatre, and Audio Visual Solutions product categories. Key customer segments will be Independent Resellers, Small Regional Retailers, and Specialty Retailers (eg. Home Theatre, Home Security, Automated Home) in a pre-determined geographical region (with progressively increasing higher sales volume and set margin requirements).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
? Meets and/or exceeds assigned sales productivity goals and/or quotas on a regular basis. Focuses on developing and expanding new accounts through varioius lead lists supplied by Industry Organizations (CEA/Cedia). (65%)
? Works with Product Management, Marketing, and Vendor Community to understand and execute sales and product strategies (15%)
? Develops and maintains customer relationships. (10%)
? Maintains current industry and job knowledge on Consumer Electronics sales categories. (5%)
? Assists sales supervisor and/or sales manager on other sales projects (5%)
Minimum Job Requirements
? Bachelor?s Degree and minimum three years of related sales or customer service experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Proven familiarity with sales processes, procedures and terminology
? Demonstrated computer skills, specifically working with personal computers
? Ability to multi-task and/or work on multiple sales accounts concurrently
? Numbers and details oriented
? Ability to make cold calls and record results
? Ability to work and strive in a dynamic work environment
? Ability to apply quality principles to work performed
Preferred Skills
? Previous experience selling to Consumer Electronics Customers (Retail/Regional-National) and/or Home Theatre/AV Installation customers.
? Previous experience with Consumer Electronic Vendors calling on Retail accounts.
? Previous experience with the Catalog Sales environment.
? Ability to develop scripts used in developing new accounts and train others in using these scripts
? Strong presentation skills using Powerpoint by Microsoft

? Responsible for generating high sales volume consistently on a month-to-month basis
? Develops and maintains new vendor relationships
? Communicates complex information effectively over the phone and in person
? Adheres to standard operating procedures, including code of conduct
? Ability to facilitate discussions at all levels of the Retailer community face to face.
