Converged Communications - IP PBX - Outside Sales Rep

Maverick Networks, an innovative and rapidly growing private company, is seeking world class, Convergence Sales Representatives to drive sales to the small and medium sized market place. Our reps are completely comfortable selling into companies that want the hottest VoIP technologies.

Position Summary
The right candidate will be goal oriented, have a successful track record of quota attainment, and be a team player. The Convergence Sales Representative (CSR) is responsible for prospecting and closing new accounts. The CSR must maintain an understanding of the company's services, our industry and our client's needs. This self-starter will have great time management and territory organization skills. The Maverick Networks CSR is tenacious in the execution of the sales plan. The Maverick Networks solution is an on-premises VoIP offering. The target market is small to medium sized businesses that are moving or expanding. The sales cycle is generally 90 days, and requires an understanding of the prospects aches, pains and objectives in their voice and data networks. Selecting appropriate prospects through research and quickly finding the right contacts is a key to success.

Accountabilities and Specific Duties
- Secure new and maintain existing business clients primarily through phone (cold calling, networking), face to face meetings and email communication
- Maintain and optimize client relations and gain an understanding of client business needs
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive offerings
- Evaluate the feasibility of new service offerings and collaborate with marketing to develop support materials
- Communicate relevant feedback from customers to marketing and development
- Maintain current account status in salesforce.com and provide sales reports
- Accurate forecasting

Required Experience/Education
- 2 to 4 year?s successful track record in quota driven "business to business" high tech sales
- Four-year degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Previous account management experience, multiple customers, and contractually based clients

Required Technical/Functional Knowledge and Skills
- Self starter and resourceful
- Excellent phone sales skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Use of Microsoft Office suite
- Internet savvy an absolute must
- eCommerce/ASP experience is a plus
- Understanding of multiple voice and data offerings
