JOB DUTIES

Develop leads and sales by creative solicitation, telemarketing, referrals from existing client lists, working lists of associations (some of which we are members), working targeted lists (restaurants, hotels, motels, food processors, grocery stores, warehouses, department stores, condominiums, apartment houses, office property management firms, manufacturing, health facilities and other large businesses) and networking groups while attending meetings.

You must have a thorough working knowledge of common household pests, their life cycles, habitats, food preferences, and approved control measures. Know and comply with current rules, regulations, laws and chemical label instructions regarding treatment methods. You must be familiar with SPCB rules and regulations, MSDS and labels, spill abatement procedures, Clark paperwork, the Corporate Safety Program, respirator policy, chemicals and equipment.

 

SUMMARY OF JOB

This is an "At-Will" position that requires good attendance and punctuality Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. This position requires a person to adequately perform a wide variety of related and non-related job duties and responsibilities. Under the general direction of the sales manager, is responsible for obtaining, developing and generating his or her own leads without any assurance from local branches to supply those leads. Responsible for consummating these leads into repetitive annual completed sales. These leads would be obtained by creative solicitation, telemarketing, working referrals and lists, networking and contacting all major locations in any area that we service throughout Northern California. This would include major, individual, chain and large multi-location facilities.

 

REPORTING

He or she will report and be accountable directly to the Branch Manager and be overseen by the Commercial Sales Manager. The salespeople will communicate with all Branch Managers when working their branch area, letting them know that they are working in their area and keeping them informed. Communicate with local Branch Managers in order to obtain any additional information from the local branches on new or large facilities that may be in their market area that they would like to see targeted.

The Corporate Commercial Salesperson would have a primary Branch from which to work and be housed. This will generally be the branch closest to where he or she lives. The manager of that branch would give day to day guidance as well as the Corporate Sales Manager. You must attend safety and technical meetings.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school graduate.
2. California Field Representative License Branch 2.
3. Valid California Driver's License in good standing.
4. Some computer training or willingness to learn.
