Job Overview: 

 

Are you an engineer with a sales forte?  In this rewarding and challenging role as a Customer Development Manager, you will lead the pursuit of revenue growth for Plexus? product development services by implementing sales strategies that position our product development capabilities in key market sectors including Wireline/Wireless Networking, Medical, Industrial, and Defense.  You will work with existing and new customers to develop and execute revenue plans for achieving our overall business development goals as the premier partner for product development, PCB development and test development engineering services.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

This crucial and unique position with a global, high-tech company utilizes your electronics product development experiences, business development skills, and leadership competencies.  Working within a business development team you will be a highly visible contributor to the growth of Plexus? domestic and international customer base revenue and have the opportunity to work with leading OEMs in their marketplace. If you enjoy the challenges of fostering customer relationships, maintaining your technical knowledge of product development, and achieving revenue goals, we are looking for you! 

 

Job Qualifications:

 

Additionally, the Customer Development Manager will tackle the following tasks:

 

?  Driving sales objectives by building customer relationships, defining project scope, providing technical support, closing product development sales, and taking a leadership role with the Sales force

?  Contributing and maintaining a forward-looking business development strategy to continue the profitable sales growth of Plexus? product development services

?  Establishing short-term and long-term revenue objectives and leading Project Managers and Sales force in meeting these objectives

?  Identifying and developing new business opportunities that fit Plexus strategic industry profiles while taking a leadership role to ensure appropriate opportunity plans are created for customer targets

?  Providing guidance to the management team on the proper prioritization and resource requirements for product development opportunities

?  Developing and maintaining expertise in all aspects of the product development process

?  Giving detailed product development sales presentations to prospective customers

?  Working with the Plexus Marketing group in the support of marketing plans, including collateral, advertisements, presentations, website, product displays, press releases, technical papers, etc.

?  Supporting trade shows as needed
