Director, Business Development, CRO Consulting Services
Job Title: Director, Business Development/CRO
Location: Home based; East Coast
Salary: $100,000/yr + bonus
Job responsibilities are to maintain existing client relationships, optimize sales to existing clients, and develop new business relationships to meet annual revenue goals. The BD Director serves as the primary business relationship manager between clients and Hill Top, pricing and negotiating all studies. Identify, prospect, prepare proposals, and close business for new and existing clients, working closely with the sponsor and Hill Top?s Site Directors and Technical Directors. Understand client requirements, business drivers/ structure, and each client?s decision making process. Maintain record of contacts. Identify sources of problems experienced by clients and find resolutions. Routinely share account status with VP/Sales and Marketing. Ensure confidentiality of client contracts. Attend key industry meetings/conferences.
Qualifications: BA/BS degree in Science, Marketing, Business or related field; 5 years CRO sales experience; product development knowledge in the pharmaceutical, dermatology and personal care industries. Excellent communication, organization and presentation skills required. Must be computer proficient. Personal qualities to impress and influence at all levels, internally and externally.
