Director, National Sales

We are currently looking for a qualified Director, National Sales who will play a central role in developing the consumer channel sales strategy, achieving revenue goals, growth targets and managing a sales force. This position will also be responsible for driving new business, building customer loyalty, supporting and promoting CA's consumer strategy. These initiatives will be achieved by building and managing a high-performance team, creating specific business plans, cultivating internal and external relationships and promoting CA's Core Values. This position will be evaluated on the achievement of specific revenue growth, existing account development and new account acquisitions in the following categories: call centers, in-home service providers, value-added resellers and traditional resellers.

As a Director, National Sales you will negotiate major deals and maintain key customer contacts with senior level executives. This position requires a strong ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to meet or exceed sales quotas, and a demonstrated ability to manage a large territory. The Director, National Sales will have a proven ability to build and maintain solid customer relationships and will monitor sales and expense performance and initiate corrective action when necessary. This position is also responsible to recruit and manage a high-performance sales team, meet or exceed sales objectives, research and develop strategy to open new accounts. Director will also be be tasked with creating and executing the on-site and call center sales plan. This position will handle moderately complex problems that may arise in everyday work, and escalate more complex problems.

Candidates will have typically 5 years experience executing strategic sales initiatives with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals. Candidate will have excellent communication skills to interact with internal contacts, customers and prospects, experience in researching and interpreting industry trends. Candidate will be skilled in time management with the ability to prioritize workload, have strong communications skill. Experience at a professional IT services company, software provider and/or software manufacturer preferred. Candidate will have excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, written and oral communications skills Requires Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Ability to maintain focus in a changing and diverse environment. Ability to handle multiple assignments. Business travel of approximately 75 percent yearly is expected for this position.
