About the position:

This position is responsible for new business development for the direct response division.  The candidate will be expected to sell, execute and manage the development of regional and multi-market direct response advertising initiatives for advertisers and their agencies in the broadcast radio and television industry. This individual should be able to establish relationships with direct response agencies and direct marketers. Additionally, he/she will develop a strategic sales plan and drive sales efforts.


Responsibilities:

? Sell national and local agency accounts and develop direct response advertising solutions for direct marketers, including custom built advertising solutions.

? Build and maintain strong knowledge of the Company?s media services and technology.

? Conduct market research to identify potential clients and articulate SWMX value proposition and brand positioning to buyers, planners, account supervisors, principals and direct clients.

? Create customer service plans for all agency and direct clients and track all regional revenue and performance.

? Cultivate new relationships at all levels to gain depth of agency and target accounts.

 

Requirements:

? 3-5 years of media sales experience with proven success in meeting sales budgets.

? Ability to work in a fast paced problem-solving work environment and implement strategy, plans and solutions.

? In-depth knowledge of broadcast media and its competitive landscape.

?  Ability to provide the highest level of customer service.

? Travel required.
