Director, Public Funds

Job Description: GENERAL FUNCTION: Sell and support the sales process of asset management services to Companies with greater than $10M in assets. The incumbent in this position will have a national focus providing a high level of specialization and expertise in investment markets.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with Large Corporate Commercial RMs, Institutional and RPS Sales Officers and Relationship Managers in a defined market as well as cultivate external referral sources to initiate contacts for developing and closing new sales through referrals and self-generated leads, concentrating on assigned markets and customer profile.
Will have specific sales production goals for revenue created within footprint (working with Affiliate personnel) and outside of footprint working independently.
Expand external sources of referrals by organizing and participating in meetings and briefings to promote investment management and trust services.
Cross-sell other bank products including wealth management, brokerage and RPS. Cultivate cross selling through referrals to Commercial, International, FTPS, and Treasury Management.
Maintain a high level of knowledge about investment products and markets.
Prepare sales management reports as required, including pipeline, internal referral activity report and sales reports
Work with Sales Support team to prepare answers to RFPs
Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None. However, is expected to assist in the orientation, training and development of the sales force.
