Director, Sales

Job Responsibilities:
EFI Electronics Corporation (a subsidiary of Schneider Electric/Square D), a leading manufacturer of electrical surge protection devices, seeks a hands-on Sales Director for our Salt Lake City based company. This position will report to the President and will be a member of the management team.


This position is accountable for developing and implementing sales plans for increasing sales and profits while ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsible for calling on accounts, developing and coordinating sales presentations, and ensuring adequate sales service. Attracts new business through a targeted, aggressive approach focused on customer-segment value propositions.


Works with marketing management to study and develop sales and marketing strategies to support sales growth plan. Responsible for price list management and price change implementation.


Manage a 4 person direct sales team as well as key manufacturer rep organizations. Assist sales team in developing sales presentations, account strategies and overall sales competency development.


Requirements


- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business - 10+ years business-to-business (B2B) sales experience - Demonstrated success at winning new customers - Sales team management experience - Experience selling technology through technical sales presentations in a B2B environment
