Director, University Relations

Essential Duties: Represents Student Advantage products within the higher education market selling multiple product lines that allow students and their families to make purchases more cost-effective and convenient Key product suite includes the University ID and Direct Mail, but also our Bulk Purchase, Alumni Advantage and Affiliate programs which encourage schools to promote the sale of the Student Advantage or Alumni Advantage Cards to their constituents Create proposals and distribute sales materials used in recruiting new relationships and up sell existing clients into new product lines Regularly update and report on success within a tracked sales funnel Understand current higher education market conditions and developments within card office technology or legal policiesQualification Requirements: Proven ability to deepen account relationships, create opportunities, identify issues and execute solutions Position requires excellent communication, organizational, project-management, time-management, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce or other lead management tools a plus Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Experience with finance and contract negotiations 50% travel is requiredEducation and/or Experience: B.A or B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing/Client Services or related field 3 ? 5 years of professional experience in similar capacity Proven sales experience within higher education administration with specific emphasis on card office technology
