Director of C-Store Sales

 

Privately held snack food company experiencing tremendous growth is seeking a seasoned sales professional with demonstrated success in the Convenience Store channel.  The selected candidate will be responsible for building and growing the C-store channel of our business.  In doing so, candidate will use syndicated data sources such as Nielson, IRI Spins and Spectra to define business needs and grow opportunities.  Will also implement strategies and tactics to develop the brand, grow the category and compete effectively and be responsible for developing sales tracking tools by account and by channel and implementing the appropriate accountability systems for continuous improvement.

 

Job Requirements

 Bachelor?s Degree in related fieldA minimum of 7 years sales experience in the Convenience Store channelDemonstrated track record of success building relationships across a wide geographySelf-starter Proven customer financial management skills and the ability to understand the financial impact of decisionsSolid understanding of both Retailer Direct and DSD ?go to market? strategies, customer marketing and trade marketing
