Director of Federal Sales
HDM, a division of First American Real Estate Solutions LLC, is a leader in delivering GeoSpatial, GIS and Multi-Hazard based solutions to Federal Departments/Agencies and Prime Contractors.
HDM?s Government Solutions Division has an exciting opportunity for a proven federal sales director to play a key role in growing HDM?s already successful business plan. This is a great opportunity to work within an established entrepreneurial division of a multi-billion dollar firm.
The Director of Federal Sales will be the focal point for all federal sales related initiatives, providing hands-on leadership to achieve sales goals and objectives as measured by a metric based sales management process. The selected candidate will build, manage and lead a team of sales, sales engineering and technical marketing personnel, leveraging their relationships and understanding of federal agency GeoAnalytic requirements to identify and close new business opportunities with present and prospective decision makers within the civilian federal market.
Qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree (Master?s is preferred) in a business or information systems related field with a minimum of 10+ years experience in GeoSpatial and/or GIS based technologies
Five to ten years of federal government direct sales experience
Demonstrated history of winning competitive acquisitions
Self-motivated, effective leader with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Ability to negotiate effectively and to cultivate long-term customer relationships
Proven ability to manage both experienced Sale Representatives and Sales Technical support staff
