Director of Multi-Line Cross Divisional Sales

The Director of MLCD Sales (the Director) will be responsible for leading and developing a team of regional sales managers who are in turn responsible for the development of $1M to $10M multi-location cross-division strategic sales accounts. This team, under the direction of this position, is accountable for meeting or exceeding established financial targets. In addition, the Director will have responsibility for their own account funnel ' this position is a 'working' Director position.
The Director will increase market revenue and contribution by establishing and implementing a successful sales strategy. This strategy will include business development (development of new prospects and converting them into customers) and business retention (increasing market share at customer and conducting business reviews) aspects; as well as the effective management of the sales resources in supporting their markets to achieve desired performance results. This position will assist the team in serving as senior business consultants, gaining a thorough knowledge and understanding of the customer's needs and helping them select the appropriate Kelly solution to meet those needs. In addition, as business conditions change, the Director assesses the impact and responds accordingly to ensure maximum profitability.

The Director is responsible for building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with key customers, business leaders in the community, and local/regional/Corporate Kelly management. With a strong focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, the Director acts as a point of escalation for the resolution of customer and employee issues. At times, the Director will serve as the liaison between corporate management, the field and the MLCD sales team.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma plus five years experience in the staffing or service industry, in a sales or management role. Bachelor's Degree preferred. The candidate must possess a proven ability to develop business; build relationships; communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and network. In addition, they must demonstrate a strong internal/external customer focus and personal leadership, and solid negotiation and presentation skills. The candidate must collaborate well with all levels of management.
