Director of Sales

Cordova Consumer Products, a division of International Sourcing Co., Inc. is a leading importer of consumer work, gardening and specialty gloves, and consumer safety products is looking for an "Experienced" (10 years) Director of Sales, to effectively manage the sales process at various "Retail" channels and accounts including the motivation & management of independent rep. groups.



 

 

 Requirements:

 

? Candidates "MUST" have at least 10 years experience in Consumer Product Sales to National Accounts with at least 5 years in a management role.

? Experience in hiring and managing Broker Sales Networks and their sales reps.

? Ability to develop and structure a high performance sales organization.  Able to establish, build and maintain top to bottom relationships with key accounts.

? Innovative !!  Someone who can identify areas for innovation and turn vision into reality.  A builder, not a "caretaker".  An entrepreneurial spirit who assumes responsibility and delivers results without constant supervision.

? A high degree of energy, reliability, and organization.

? Good computer skills with proficiency in the use of Windows Applications: Outlook, Excel, Power Point & Word.

? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.





 

 

Responsibilities:

 

? Drive sales at all assigned accounts and achieve all sales targets.

? Identify/create sales opportunities at key customers.  Build effective working relationships with key customers and rep. groups.

? Provide buyers/merchants with promotional ideas and concepts.  Create effective sales pieces and presentations.  Conduct energetic sales presentations to customers and rep groups.

? Manage in-house sales department.

? Motivate & manage independent rep groups.  Provide sales forecasting input.  Conduct product knowledge seminars.  Provide valuable input in an effort to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team.

? Communicate effectively, both internally & externally.  Handle all requests in a timely and accurate manner.

? Conduct all functions, duties and responsibilities in a professional manner with a positive attitude and demeanor.

 

The Director will be based in the Memphis, TN and will report to the company's President.  The company offers a limited relocation package for the right person.
