Director of Sales Operations

An established and successful NYC Metropolitan area package goods company is seeking an experienced Director of Sales Operations to join their management team

 

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of appropriate experience in Sales or Sales Administration as well as a strong Sales planning background in a consumer product environment working with Marketing, Production, Purchasing, Logistics and Sales Management.


He/She will have the following successful experiences in:

 

? Category management analysis and presentation development in multiple categories, preferably HBC.

 

? Excellent ability to forecast sales at an item level.

 

? Analysis of promotional spending efficiencies and syndicated data.

 

? Ability to allocate and track promotional programs.

 

? Development of major account forecasting and planning.

 

? Written and verbal communication skills.

 

? Familiarity with Microsoft Office (including Access), Nielsen & IRI, and ability to adapt to Crystal reporting.
