Director of Sales Residence Inn Scottsdale North

The Residence Inn by Marriott, Scottsdale North is currently seeking an outstanding candidate to lead the sales effort for our 120 suite property located in the heart of North Scottsdale's upscale business, dining, and entertainment district.

The Director of Sales will lead the sales effort through proactive direct sales, maintaining current accounts as well as developing new accounts.? The Director of Sales will be responsible for maintaining progress on quarterly sales action plans; set and achieve monthly and annual revenue goals; react to market changes to maximize emerging opportunities; maintain quality working relationship with Marriott hotel partners as well as competitor hotels in the area.

Prior hotel sales management experience is key, with a minimum of two years as Director, or two years in hotel sales with previous department head experience in other areas.? The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Publisher.? ACT! Database software familiarity is a plus.?
