Distribution Sales Specialist - NY

Description:
Eaton Electrical, located in New York, NY has an opening for a Distribution Sales Specialist. The successful candidate will directly interface with assigned distributors by providing a variety of sales support and administrative services in inventory management, identifying and coordinating training needs, product promotion administration, product and price information, and problem resolution in order to optimize Eaton Electrical penetration and sales at distributors for standard flow good products. Specific functions include Inventory Management, Promotions, Training, and Communications. Additional functions: Understand distributor agreement procedures and policies. Discuss all aspects of distributor channels based on established strong lines of communications. Utilize established co-worker relationships with plants to accomplish tasks. Develop store-merchandising plans. Ensure usage of electronic tools (EDI, Vistaline on the web, etc.) Have a thorough understanding of Eaton Electrical educational offerings. Assist in DIY efforts when necessary.

Bachelors degree in engineering or marketing. One to three years of comparable work experience, including product line knowledge and strong relationship building skills.
