The selected candidate will provide general administrative support to the District Manager and other district personnel.  District Assistant has frequent and continual interaction with the Branches and Headquarters personnel.  This position requires performing numerous administrative tasks such as typing correspondence, answering telephones, ordering supplies, paying bills, preparing new hire and other personnel action documents, open and distribute mail, logs, manuals and files.  In addition, the position requires organizing district and training meetings, planning and preparing training material, setting up conference calls and making travel arrangements, and producing and compiling accurate daily, monthly and quarterly reports to be used at the district, region, and division levels.  As needed, the District Assistant will also assume relief assignments in the branch.


 



This position will require a High School diploma or equivalent.  Requires one to two years of directly related work experience in secretarial experience, finance experience (consumer finance preferred), and branch environment experience. The successful candidate must have excellent analytical skills used in problem solving situations. Must also possess excellent telephone and interpersonal skills used appropriately in dealing with co-workers, subordinates and field employees and have some familiarity with PC-like hardware and software.  Must have the ability to function in a fast paced environment and to manage multiple priorities.  Must be able to work flexible hours.  Minimum 45-50 wpm typing is required.
