District Sales Manager Texas

Windsor Republic Doors has been a recognized leader in the manufacture of residential and commercial garage doors and commercial hollow metal doors and frames for over 50 years!  We currently have an opportunity for a District Sales Manager to be based in the Houston, Texas area and will cover the states of Texas and Louisiana.Qualified candidates should possess a background in commercial construction with particular emphasis in the overhead door and hollow metal/hardware industry. 

The successful candidate will communicate with distributors of building materials within the commercial construction, residential, and traditional building supply markets.  The position requires an individual to be capable of identifying sales growth opportunities within the current customer base, as well as, new business opportunities within the commercial distribution and dealer markets. 

Responsibilities of the position include:  managing a territory to increase profitable sales, establishing new customers, and helping existing distributors increase market share with our products.  This position will be approximately 60% opening new accounts and 40% managing existing accounts.  The job scope involves developing relationships with distributors, dealers, installers, builders, and architects to secure new and ongoing business. 

This position requires a motivated self-starter who is a sales professional experienced in building products or a related commercial construction industry.  The candidate must possess a strong work ethic, as well as, a minimum of 3 years of related sales and distributor management experience.  The successful candidate must possess strong business knowledge, professional presentation skills, closing skills, and excellent problemsolving abilities along with a proven commitment to customer satisfaction.  A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.  The candidate must be able to manage his or her own territory utilizing good time management and organizational skills.  Good computer skills are needed, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office. 

Windsor Republic Doors offers salary commensurate with experience along with an excellent benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, Vacation, Paid Holidays, and 401(k) plan).  All benefits, except 401(k), begin at date of hire.  A vehicle or a car allowance is provided, along with a personal computer and cell phone.
