Job Description: ETL Product Manager, cannot go above 90k, must have strong ETL background.
ETL Technical Product Manager
We are currently looking for a Product Manager for our Data Management Group. The position involves managing all technical aspects of product management and planning for Data Management products including DataMigrator and Resource Analyzer and Resource Governor and reports to the Technical Director of the Data Management Products Group.
Responsibilities include: Researching technology and enhancements in the area of ETL; technical customer support; writing and reviewing feature specifications and product documentation; processing and prioritizing product issues and new feature requests; development of technical presentations for field; providing internal training and interfacing with programming, quality assurance, sales and marketing, and customers; creating and presenting product status and product enhancement recommendations to management; Particular emphasis will be on customer support.
Experience required: Candidates should come from a Product Management, customer support, or software development background, with strong experience driving product development and working with a development team. Experience with an ETL product is preferred. Experience with Information Builders or iWay Software products preferred. Candidates must have strong presentation skills and be willing to travel. Candidates must have hands on technical skills in UNIX, with MVS and MVS/zOS experience a plus. A working knowledge of at least one relational database and SQL is required.
