EWP Department Manager

An key management role opportunity exists in our Building Materials Distribution Division of Boise Cascade LLC, for a Engineered Wood Products Department Manager in the Marion, OH area.

 

Responsibilities:


Candidate must Demonstrate ability to drive EWP sales growth. This position will provide leadership to the EWP product teams. Manages engineered wood related items for inventory, as well as leads sales efforts in these products to dealers. Develops and introduces marketing plan/promotions for new products to customer base. Maintains direct responsibility over purchasing, pricing, and inventory of assigned products in a team environment. Coordinates product flow from sales through operations. Performance reviews, team motivation and skills development of direct reports. Solicits direct sales of assigned products to dealers. Develop and implements EWP growth strategy for Ohio and surrounding market.
 
Qualifications:


College degree in business or marketing preferred. Requires specialized experience with a minimum of five years in the building materials industry, in product management and procurement and/or sales; extensive experience with and knowledge of all EWP product lines, market analysis, and pricing strategies and demonstrated leadership skills. May require broad knowledge of company structure.
