Camp Yale is a place where people learn to work together, build self esteem, and become more successful. Camp Yale sits on 27 acres of wooded land in Randolph County, IN and includes 20 challenge stations, a climbing tower, zip line, a pond, shelter, cabins, and much more to come! With five years of operating success under our belt, we are looking for a leader who will expand our reach to businesses, churches, schools and other groups. Our unique facility combined with a passionate and talented board of directors has positioned us to reach our vision of bringing Camp Yale to its fullest potential.

OPPORTUNITY:
As our Director of Advancements, you will be involved in every aspect of the camp?s growth. Your primary role and the one with the greatest impact on our success is to get ?out and about? daily to foster relationships with Camp Yale users. Driving revenues by increasing awareness of our facility and programs is paramount. We have invested considerable time, energy, and money in the development of a well-defined strategic plan for Camp Yale. Your mission is to execute this plan and deliver results!
Success Factors:Develop relationships with regional companies, churches, and schools. Promote the unique experiences that Camp Yale has to offer. Grow our base of supporters and expand the network of champions for our mission. Hire, train, and manage an office staff. First hire will be your assistant! Manage our capital needs campaign for construction of our conference center, 70 acre lake, and other expanded facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor?s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required. Minimum 3 years in a management role. Corporate sales, marketing, or public relations experience required. Fundraising and grant writing experience would be helpful. Experience in a non-profit a plus, but not required. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Exceptional initiative, drive, and ability to make things happen. Strong belief and dedication to our mission and vision of Camp Yale and Randolph County!
COMPENSATION:
Camp Yale will reward your talents, dedication and enthusiasm with a salary of $60k. You will also receive paid vacation and holidays. You will work out of a soon to be expanded office space on the Camp Yale grounds near Winchester, IN.
