Engineer, Telechannel Sales

Job Responsibilities:
Schneider Electric is in search of a BI-LINGUAL candidate in English/Spanish for Telechannel position. This position has sales specific responsibilities towards Telechannel Small Project Job (SPJ) Follow-up. It is accountable for the promotion and sale of a broad range of products under the direction of the Sales Manager. Develops new sales opportunities, addresses and services the needs of targeted and established SPJ accounts. Utilizes excellent product and customer knowledge to educate distributors and contractors on pricing and application advantages, and how they meet customer's needs.


Sets goals and objectives, develops sales/business plans, establishes call plans and strategies, develops account profiles and executes the sales plan. Applies market and account skills necessary for dealing with specific target audiences such as distributors, contractors, industrials and utilities. Identifies and contacts potential customers or prospects, either existing or new. Develops and maintains up-to-date knowledge of electricity and electronics, Square D and competitive products and their strengths, weaknesses and applications. Applies knowledge of Square D products to customer's needs. Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction through increased availability/access, timely communication, tracking and expediting orders, and following up on accounts. Requires excellent listening, descision-making, negotiating and speaking skills. Negotiates and coordinates pricing strategies, market conditions and changes for applicable area.. Contacts customers to survey customer satisfaction and/or inform potential customers of Square D products for future business. Follows through on leads and inquiries. Contacts and follows-up with contractors in assigned territories to esetablish relationships with SPJ customer base to increase job hit rate and profits. Develops and maintains databases using various tools. Incorporates new lead list acquisitions into the databases, maintains information for tracking, report generation and project management. May input quotations, enter and manage orders. Provides feedback to appropriate outside sales segments on trends, leads, volume of activity, etc.
