Enrollment Supervisor


The Enrollment Supervisor is responsible for ensuring revenue growth through the hiring, direct supervision, performance management, development and ongoing coaching of a sales team within the Enrollment Services group.  In addition, the Supervisor will be responsible for extensive call coaching and 1:1?s, tracking sales activity, providing sales projections, and analyzing metrics that drive results.  The Supervisor will work very closely with their Manager, who will set overall direction and strategy. 


Primary responsibilities include:

?  Direct supervision over 7 ? 10 Enrollment Directors as various stages of development.  This would involve daily interaction with direct reports.

?  Under the direction of the sales manager/director, participating in recruiting initiatives and making individual hiring decisions.

?  Ensuring successful integration and application of training modules from new hires.

?  Monitoring, training, coaching, and motivating Enrollment Directors to effectively represent Capella offerings via product knowledge and positioning, our framework, and sales techniques.

?  Developing enrollment forecasts through daily interaction with Enrollment Directors

?  Meeting regularly with employees about performance and development and to provide on-going feedback.

?  Lead in the creation and participate in the delivery of bi-annual performance reviews.

?  Coaching individuals on how to leverage sales tools & techniques to achieve their goals

?  Providing sales management with weekly reports on sales activity, projections and performance

?  Demonstrating a solid understanding of inter-departmental operations.

?  Providing a leadership presence throughout the department to effectively influence results and manage conflict resolution and problem solving.

?  Lead in the continued development of a sales-driven culture, and fun, fast-paced environment.


Required Competencies/Skills:

 

?  BA/BS in relevant field or commensurate experience; progress toward an advanced degree a plus.

?  4 years of sales experience with demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.

?  1+ years in sales management strongly preferred; previous supervisory or lead experience (will consider commensurate experience) required. 

?  Excellent people management, relationship-building and problem resolution skills.

?  Ability to identify and correct issues with the sales process, with demonstrated coaching and development skills.

?  Outstanding written and verbal communication skills required; must be able to express oneself effectively within groups and in one-to-one conversations. 

?  Must be able to create an atmosphere in which timely and high quality input/out flows smoothly between self and others.

?  In-depth understanding of solution/relationship selling, uncovering buying decisions and understanding customer needs.

?  Excellent ability to organize information, manage tasks and projects and use available tools to effectively contribute to organization, including Excel and PowerPoint applications.

?  Strong process orientation with excellent problem solving skills. Demonstrated attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through.

?  Clear leadership, mentoring and motivational abilities.

?  Must have strong analytic side to compliment sales ability.
