TITLE: Entry Level Sales & Marketing Consultant

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

~ Conducts telephone prospecting, in-person sales calls and presentations as an IT expert selling solutions.
~ Generate Sales Opportunities and follow-up to close the sales.
~ Develops detailed solution proposals and conducts systematic follow-up for prospects and existing customers.
- Develop, analyzes and recommends new products and services.
~ Work with Technical Support to configure/integrate solutions for clients
- Meet or exceed monthly assigned quota.
~ Meet monthly performance goals and attend vendor certification classes.
~ Trains and may supervise Inside Sales Representatives
~ Stays abreast of technology
~ Committed to overcome obstacles

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

Four-year degree relating to Information Technology or equivalent experience Minimum of two years' related sales, or equivalent
~ Knowledge of information technology concepts, computer and networking systems and peripherals
~ Must be able to understand business problems and how technology can be used to solve them
~ Expert in professional selling of IT products
~ Proficiency in developing customer following
~ Telemarketing and cold-calling effectiveness
~ Ability to write proposals and make presentations
~ Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
~ Able to learn special software programs such as GoldMine and Visio
~ Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and abilities
~ Must be self motivated
~ Must be able to write professional business letters
~ Must be able to give professional presentations
