Entry-Level Travel Consultant, Full Time with Benefits

We are currently seeking to fill an entry-level position for a full-time Travel Consultant at our fast-paced (yet fun & casual) National Reservation Center in Plantation, FL. We are seeking a high-energy, sales-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills.  Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to multi-task are essential.

 

International travel, work, or study abroad experience and college degree are preferred. Training will be provided. This is a full time position for a dependable, professional individual seeking a new or first career path.

 

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

 

?  A High School Diploma or GED equivalent (College or Travel Specialization Training preferred)

?  2+ years of Customer Service, Retail Sales, or Hospitality/Restaurant work experience

?  A clear & friendly, professional & articulate e-mail and phone manner

?  Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to organize, comprehend  and manage large volumes of changing information

?  Computer literacy, including basic Word & Excel

?  Previous participation in- or conceptual understanding of: International Study Abroad, Volunteer & Work Abroad Programs, Foreign Language Study, etc.

?  A basic knowledge and understanding of geography and international destinations with a desire to learn much more

?  Commitment to exceptional attendance and reliability

?  Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude

?  The desire and ability to interact with college-age customers

?  Flexibility and creativity in handling challenging and stressful situations

?  A strong desire to succeed in a sales-oriented, fast-paced environment serving the Student and Youth market

?  A love of travel!

Full-time only. No part-time or flex-time positions currently available.  Current shift is 9AM-6PM Monday-Friday.  Some evening and weekend work may be required in the future.
