We are on the hunt for the next great event manager to staff all of our corporate and personal bowling events. Is that you? Here are the responsibilities:

?Manage On-Site event flow from pre-event set up to post event billing during weekday evening shift. (Hours: 3-10 pm) some weekend support may also be necessary during peak periods.
?Develop relationships with guests throughout the evening providing the highest levels of customer service.
?Grow event sales through suggestive selling, event extensions and satisfying unique customer requests
?Work directly with all venue operations staff to ensure perfect delivery of event; most importantly with the kitchen.
?Respond to event inquiries and converting inquiries into events.
?Manage details of all events booked
?Create and manage all client data through online databases.
?Oversee success of all your events.
?Build customer satisfaction by exceeding expectations and investigating and resolving all issues.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a bright, self-starter with hospitality, events and/or sales experience; an outgoing individual with excellent communication and presentation skills. Specifically, this person must possess the following:

?College Degree, preferably in Marketing/Advertising, Journalism, Communication
?1-2 yrs experience preferred
?Demonstrated high energy, strong work ethic and sense of urgency
?Outgoing, friendly, proactive, goal-oriented and able to work independently
?Highly organized and able to coordinate a high volume of priorities
?Excellent communication and listening skills
?Strong team player who works well across the organization
?Knowledge of the NYC market helpful
?Must be willing to work primarily evenings (3-10 pm) and some weekends
?Computer skills: knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
