Healthcare or Prof. Healthcare Rep - Houston, TX

Description: The Healthcare Representative/Professional Healthcare Representative is responsible for calling on practicing physicians, dentists, periodontists, managed care and other health-related organizations/personnel within an assigned territory. He/she must provide the most current information pertaining to Pfizer Consumer Healthcare products and their approved indications in a manner, which will ensure the appropriate use of these products and achieve the business potential of the territory. Accomplishment of these goals must comply with the terms and conditions outlined in Pfizer's Policies on Business Conduct. Develop and maintain proficiency in product knowledge, competitive product knowledge, computer capabilities and Action Selling skills. Successfully complete Foundations for Success training program and other required courses.
- Through the use of a company-provided computer, accurately record physician profiles, call planning, and call notes in DARWIN. Maintain an up-to-date accurate territory database and integrate data to target high decile professionals.
- Store, organize and rotate samples and company-supplied equipment/records and promotional material according to prescribed conditions. This requires lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Travel will be required.

Qualifications:
-Education: BS/BA Degree preferred; 20 Hours Life Science preferred.
-Healthcare Rep Experience: Previous sales experience preferred.
-Professional Healthcare Rep Experience: 1-3 years of experience detailing OTC or pharmaceutical products to Healthcare Providers is required.
-Must be able to lift 25 pounds of samples.
