Westwood College and Redstone Institute, subsidiaries of Alta Colleges and two of the country?s fastest growing educational institutions, is expanding it's recruitment team. Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking qualified professional sales people to join our High School Team at our Houston campus.
Responsibilities of the Field Admissions Representative are broken down into four areas:
1. HEAVY TELEPHONE WORK: (Approximately 40%) ? Calling self generated leads to qualify candidates and set appointments to interview them in in their homes and the campus. Networking with existing leads to generate referrals.
2. INTERVIEWING/PRESENTATION: (Approximately 40%) ? Each candidate for admission must be personally interviewed. This includes qualifying the candidate to determine his or her background and needs, and explaining the benefits of a Westwood education.
3. ADMINISTRATIVE PAPERWORK & FOLLOW-UP: (Approximately 10%) ? Upon the successful completion of the interview, application paperwork must be completed. Extensive follow-up is required to ensure the student stays motivated and meets all entrance requirements, including testing and financial planning. Additional weekly reports must be completed and filed in a timely manner.
4. ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT: (Approximately 10%)- Fresh senior leads are the foundation of every high school representative's success. Representatives are expected to visit multiple schools one to two days a week and conduct workshops in the classroom to generate leads.
Requirements for the Field Admissions Representative position include:
1. A Bachelor?s Degree is preferred. However, we will consider candidates with an equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
2. Two years of SALES experience is required. Financial services, Weight Loss, or Intangible sales experience a plus.
3. Professional image, electric telephone personality and dynamic people skills are a must!
4. The ability to work a flexible schedule. (Evening and Saturday hours are required as part of the schedule)
