Hotel Sales Account Manager

Sells the company's products or services and maintains relationships with complex or large existing hotel accounts. Primary responsibilities include expanding and developing products utilized by accounts, managing sales activities and providing customer service. Calls on accounts, provides product information and/or presents demonstrations of how the product/service will meet the client's needs. Provides appropriate prices. Typically closes the sale. These activities may be conducted alone or with the assistance of a sales/technical support team. Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales-related activities. Typically responsible for acquiring, expanding and retaining named accounts and ensuring that ongoing customer service is provided. Recognized as technical expert by internal and external peers.


EDUCATION:


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.




EXPERIENCE:


Minimum 8 years experience preferred.




Strong hotel industry experience required.




Knowledge resource on multiple projects/initiatives across the company for a variety of internal/external customers.
