Atlas Copco Construction Tools Inc. is the U.S. sales company for its parent division, Sweden-based Atlas Copco Construction Tools. The company sells a range of construction equipment through a distribution network across the U.S.
We are searching for an ambitious self-starter whom is able to work independently and take on a wide range of responsibilities. Above all, the candidate should be a good team player, with an interest in finding creative ways to achieve market dominance for our products. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical background with 5-7 years related experience with hydraulic construction equipment.
The Hydraulic Applications Manager will be responsible for:
Working together with VP of Sales and Sales personnel to support dealers and end users with technical support and product and application knowledge to enhance the acceptance and sales growth of hydraulic attachments.When the largest hydraulic breakers (HB5800/HB7000) are put into service, act as coordinator/lead person in the specification and installation. Act as a key support when deals for such breakers are in negotiation.Develop training materials and programs for sales, customer service, and dealer personnel. Conduct training sessions on a regular basis to ensure high levels of technical, application, and product knowledge.
Ensure that all necessary product/service support material is current and available to the dealer network/customer base through the proper channels.Liaise with Product Company to stay current on all matters relating to new products, applications, training and product support materials, and ensure that this knowledge is disseminated appropriately throughout the company.Represent Sales Company at trade shows.Participate with media related projects including article creation, review, editor interviews, and providing technical content.Carry out additional duties and occasional project work as needs arise.
