Our client has established itself as a major supplier of smelter sulphuric acid to the phosphate industry in Florida and the US Gulf. They play a significant role in the distribution of smelter sulphuric acid not only as a buyer and seller but also through exchange agreements.  This is an opportunity for you to become an integral player in this exciting world of commodities.

JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS
? Responsible for existing sales and for developing new sales in US market.
? Candidate must be able to succeed in a team environment set to meeting customer needs.
? Must have the ability to understand goals, develop sales programs, conduct reviews, and produce professional sales/marketing reports and assist in the overall operations of the company.
? Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential qualities required for the position.
? Responsible for the overall sales and customer service performance in the sale of Sulphur, Sulphuric Acid
? Business & Sales activities on existing and potential
? Maintain, establish and grow sulphur and sulphuric acid business
? Customer visits (35% to 50% travel in the US)
? Re-establish customer and market contacts
? Bid, Pricing and Contract Negotiations
? Develop new sources of supply
? Up-to-date knowledge of end-user segment trends
? Assist the General Manager in the overall operations
? Monitor actual sales compared to budgeted/forecasted figures and take opportune action on any variance.
? Ensure on-time completion and accuracy of daily, monthly and other periodic reports.
? Provide elemental research for various industrial markets or product applications (new products and/or uses).
? Prospect and develop markets for new products.
? BA/BS degree (4 years from well-known accredited university) (Science related)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 
? Minimum 5 Years in chemical or industrial related sales field.
? Knowledge of pulp and paper, water treatment a plus.
? Strong management and analytical abilities
? Ability to implement effective methods to motivate people and achieve results.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Good presentation skills
? Ability to work well with the team
? Ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment
? Willingness to make the commitment necessary to become skilled in the position
? Knowledge of competition updates
? Research, develop, and implement methods to maintain and increase sales volume and efficiency including:
? Fulfill sales goals and performance objectives
? Maintain strong relationships with current accounts
? Research and develop new market opportunities
? Develop and maintain a department's overhead, travel budget, and forecast.
? Proficiency in Computer Skills (MS Office suite plus Outlook)
