INSIDESALES REPRESENTATIVE - RESELLERS

Raritan makes products that are used to control millions of servers at more than 50,000 network data centers, computer test labs and multi-workstation environments around the world.

Responsibilities include interacting with partner sales team and handling inbound reseller partners? inquiries; becoming proficient with Raritan?s advanced KVM hardware product line; being able to guide potential customers to the correct Raritan solution that meets their goals; developing formal quotes for the resulting solution; and understanding the advantages of Raritan?s solution versus competitors. Other responsibilities include becoming conversant with IP network terminology, "live demo" prospect follow-up, answering open questions and assisting reseller in closing sales; assisting in administrative duties associated with reseller channel; and working on leads received via web, phone, shows, or lists and developing into qualified leads to be transitioned to the field.


Requirements include a Bachelor?s Degree and experience in CRM package such as Sales Logix, Salesforce.com, etc.; and experience working with computer distributors or resellers. Prior experience in an inside sales/support role is a plus. Knowledge of servers, data centers or networks, good working knowledge of Windows, experience with Excel, Visio and Word are musts. Effective verbal and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, positive demeanor and attitude, demonstrated ability to follow-through and close sales are necessary. An interest in closing sales and commitment to winning is crucial for success in this position.
