Our client, Scales Industrial Technologies, Inc. (Scales), is one of these companies, and Scales is seeking a Sales Engineer to work in the Delaware Valley area of Southeastern PA.

Scales sells compressed air equipment and provides engineering solutions to a diversified base of customers including manufacturers, hospitals, utilities and commercial buildings.  Scales has sales and service facilities to serve customers throughout the Northeast and Middle Atlantic regions. Established in 1966 and now with over 175 employees, the organization is one of the largest providers of compressed air products and related equipment in the nation.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

?  Solve customer air compressor system problems and provide technical assistance

?  Prospecting for new business (calling on industrial and commercial users)

?  Making sales presentations

?  Calling on existing accounts

?  Account management

?  Developing strong customer relationships

?  Generating proposals and quotes

?  Achieving gross profits and territory goals

 

 

Experience Required:

?  At least 1 - 3 years of outside sales experience in the industrial marketplace

?  Experience in selling mechanical equipment and/or services preferred

?  Formal education in Engineering Services is a plus.  Extensive training will be provided.

?  Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus

?  Qualified candidate will be a resilient self-starter with self-management skills and a strong sense of accountability
