Indirect Sales Representative

JOB FUNCTION:

Working under general direction, the incumbent is responsible for providing the coordination and implementation of promotional strategies through existing agents to penetrate regional cellular market. Will assist customers with purchasing phones and service. Also will assist in the resolution of routine customer questions/problems with the company products and services. Performs a variety of duties related to sales, retention and customer service in accordance with company policies and procedures under the direction of the Management

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Responsible for striving to meet and exceed sales quotas monthly as set by Corporate.
2. Coordinate with the Indirect Sales Manager the implementation of Indirect cellular distribution efforts in terms of sales channels outside of our cellular divisions. This will also include the instruction of the sales and promotional strategies and business plans to other cellular agents to meet assigned goals.
3. Provides friendly, courteous, professional support to customer in person and by telephone.
4. Receives, researches and answers customer inquiries, complaints and requests regarding accounts, products, rates and service offered.
5. Maintain working relations with customers and offer alternatives to un-resolvable problems.
6. Responsible for following-up on customer inquiries and research to assure a satisfactory completion.
7. Remains current on changes in policies, procedures and product offerings.
8. Identifies training needs and reports them to management.
9. Maintain the completion of accurate paperwork and responsibility of submission to appropriate department on time as required by policy and procedures.
10. Assist management, other departments, and other company personnel when needed.
11. Meets and exceeds team member expectations by providing service and department teamwork;
? Provides value added service to customers by doing whatever reasonable and possible to meet or exceed customer expectations;
? Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed;
? Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers and management;
? Performs other duties as required to provide excellent service and teamwork;
12. Adheres to policies and procedures;
? Attends work on time as scheduled;
? Required to call in to report an absence no less than two hours prior to the start of the shift by contacting the supervisor directly and stating reason for absence;
? Minimizes safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
13. Performs other duties clerical, proofreading, special Business projects from time to time as requested by the Management or as business needs dictates.
14. Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion (i.e. office).
15. Maintain confidentiality of all customer and company information.
16. Develop and maintain the professional image and corporate philosophy in the community.
17. Maintain appropriate professional dress attire at all times according to position.
18. Represent the Company in public relations, i.e., golf tournaments, trade shows, parades, etc. as required.
Understanding of the principles and practices of supervision and training. Ability to define problem(s), define seriousness of problem(s), collect data, and establish facts. Knowledge of Cellular industry and presenting information through proposals to customers. Maintain positive attitude towards co-workers and customers. Maintain honesty and integrity in all dealings. Effective time management. Good understanding of office etiquette, procedures and equipment. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Professional and effective oral and written communication skills. Must be a self-starter, i.e., enthusiastic and outgoing personality. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. Must have valid motor vehicle operator?s license and a responsible driving record. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Preferably 1 - 3 years of Sales experience in the cellular industry and phone operations. Basic computer and network operations such as Microsoft Window and Word, and Typing.
