We are actively searching for an experienced Industry Software Sales Rep. who will be responsible for selling & supporting IBM's software efforts to a number of State & Local Government Accounts in the Greater Texas Area. Successful candidates will have 5+ years of Software Sales experience with large enterprise software products (Infrastructure, ERP, Applications, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of IBM's software product sets or Competitive products and experience selling into State & Local Government accounts. We are looking for candidates with all or some of the following skills and/or experience: Software Sales & Prospecting Skills, Account Management, Closing Skills, Relationship Building & Executive Presentations, Excellent teaming & communication skills, Knowledge of the Software Industry, Experience selling into State & Local Goverment accounts and the Ability to direct & work with the extended team. This Sales Rep. should reside in the Greater Texas area (Any major metropolitan city in Texas with Austin preferred). This position will be mobile and the successful candidate will work remotely with moderate travel required (up to 40%). Our Sales people are measured on sales results so compensation includes both base pay & commission and is commensurate with experience.
