Grow the organization within the hospital market through the sale of certain products and services in the assigned territory for a defined contract size. Position activities are conducted over the phone, through email and fax to customers. Performance measured by ability to attain annual sales quota.

Responsible for engaging in a sales discussion with existing and new customers to sell a variety of products within a defined contract size. Cultivate orders or order-take or accept re-orders of a defined contract size. Perform prospecting/cold-calling to enhance sales opportunities within a defined contract size. Overcome customer questions/objections to further the sale. Coordinate the transfer of sales opportunities to outside automation consultants for sales of increased size. Interact daily with automation consultants, regional managers, sales administration and marketing staff and the National VP of Sales. Coordinate with other internal departments and McKesson business units to optimize co-selling opportunities. Coordinate company product support to customers as needed. Follow standard company and sales department practices and procedures. Maintain fiscal responsibility for all Company-related business expenses.Minimum Requirements

1+ years of related sales experience desirable, preferably in healthcare industry.Additional Knowledge & Skills

Demonstrated prior sales success. Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communications skills a must. Self-motivated towards a measurable performance goal. Able to work independently. PC skills with strong Word, Excel, and Internet. Willingness to travel occasionally for training opportunities.Education
