ARI, a leading provider of electronic parts catalogs for power sports and outdoor power equipment dealers (PartSmart), is looking for a qualified sales professional to join our inside sales Dealer Marketing Services team.  DMS, consisting of marketing support services which include website development and hosting, email marketing and direct mail, has doubled its sales in the last year.  This expansion requires us to find someone looking for a close-knit, fast-paced environment who learns quickly and is customer-focused.

 

General

 

The Dealer Marketing Specialist position is responsible for selling ARI DMS product offerings to the dealers while creating, building, and strengthening long-term relationships, thereby driving repeat sales and renewal revenue.

 

Essential Duties

 Generate sales from leads assigned by DMS Director and ARI Marketing Department.  Then work to properly quote desired products, continuously following up in a timely manner through a definite conclusion. Grow the dealer base through personal prospecting within assigned area emphasizing relationship building and ARI?s commitment to value before, during and after the sale. Primary driver of dealer relationships.  Responsible for building and maintaining strong professional relationships within existing dealer base. Properly log all contacts with dealers & distributors in the current CRM software. Assist Marketing personnel with seminar/mailing/call campaigns as required by management. Maintain regular contact with existing dealers to build the relationship, service renewals and uncover additional revenue opportunities. Properly execute necessary paperwork in a timely manner to process customer orders. Perform other duties as assigned by ARI management.


Qualifications

 

? 3 or more years successful retail sales experience at outdoor power and/or power sports dealership(s). OR-

? 2 or more years successful Inside Sales experience preferably to independent dealers.

?  BA/BS desired but will substitute additional outdoor power or power sports sales experience.

? Recent college grads with sufficient successful part-time sales experience will be considered.  Direct mail sales experience also a plus.Strong telephone and written communication skills. Professional presence & appearance.  (Occasional trade show work required.)Ability to present technology products (websites, email marketing) in an engaging manner to individuals and groups of small business owners. Ability to thrive in a Team Sales environment. Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail and ability to prioritize. MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) experience and competence. Hands-on experience working with a CRM (ACT, GoldMine, Salesforce.com) databaseHighly motivated self-starter. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a record of achieving and exceeding assigned quotas. < 10% travel.
