The Inside Sales Associate position is a ?Selling? function for Grover products.  Qualification of prospects, sales leads, quotations, customer interaction and tracking are key elements of this position. Grover?s objectives are to give the best service possible using a ?Compete to Win? attitude in all markets served.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

This position will develop prospects, various sales leads and convert to new business opportunities. Each will require tracking, follow up and providing necessary feedback to the sales manager.  Development of tracking logs, phone contacts and other documented activities will be essential to the success of the position.  Grover?s current sales history data base will be used extensively for developing business opportunities.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Inside Sales Associate who will report directly to and is accountable to the Sales Manager.  The basic function of the Inside Sales person is to proactively meet the expectations of the customer, the company and the market place.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

 Data Base Mining ? Using exist customer data, you will call current and former customers to obtain orders.Have the ability to acquire New BusinessHave a strong ?Hunter? sales mentalitySoliciting orders / Cold CallingFollowing up on pre-qualified LeadsQualifying new businessesQualifying new business opportunities for the field and channel salesCalling Leads off of Target Market Prospect Lists and creating this list.Maintaining a call back file to keep in touch with potential prospects Winning back inactive or dormant accountsObtain market share from Competition by targeting their key accounts.Developing your own source of prospectsCreating and following up on referrals from your own customer baseCoordinating activities of major accounts with sales managerFollowing up on Company Sponsored Marketing CampaignsForming customer partnerships and value-added relationships Practicing a sell-through mentality versus a sell-to (What does your customer?s customer require?)Using targeting and profiling information to conduct effective cold call campaigns. Develop tracking system for all quote / lead generation activity.Ability to track projects from inception to order.Attending scheduled meetings on time and prepared per the advance notice.Completing required reports accurately and in a timely manner.The Sales Manager may assign other duties as required.

 

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

 Required: High School DiplomaMinimum: Associates Degree in Sales, Marketing or CommunicationsPreferred: Graduation from an accredited four year university

 Experience:5 -7 years inside/outside sales experience, proven time-management and account management skills and excellent communication skills within a manufacturing environmentComputer experience in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and business systems.

 

BENEFITS:

 Salary ranges from $42,000 - $47,000 based upon experience.Excellent benefits package.
