Update Legal is currently seeking a savvy business development associate responsible for developing new sales opportunities is this growing market. The legal sales person or business development associate develops relationships, creates interest, qualifies opportunities, and schedules meetings with project managers and partners at large law firms. We are looking for hungry, sales savvy entrepreneurial-minded candidates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

*Develop prospective customers through research, outbound sales prospecting calls, referrals, event attendance, and other marketing campaign activities.


*Build the relationship and gain the trust required to carefully identify the customer's needs, raise needs awareness and consult with the customer to determine how these needs can be fulfilled by Update Legal.


*Research, analyze, and manage prospect list and report new business activities on a weekly basis. Meet and exceed 100% of lead generation and productivity goals.


*Demonstrate persistence in reaching key prospects/decision makers in target companies; deliver benefit statements, handle objections and document calls.


*Effectively craft industry and customer-specific communications including letters and emails to help sales team develop and progress opportunities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

*Bachelor?s degree from a four-year college or university.


*Qualified candidates will have 1 to 5 years of previous sales experience demonstrating the sense of urgency, persistence, drive, determination and professionalism required to succeed.


*The right candidate will be a team player, yet have the ability to work independently and possess excellent time management, organizational and presentation skills. Critical listening skills are essential.


*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
