Due to an internal promotion, we have an open position for an Inside Sales Consultant in our Data Department.

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic candidate for this Inside Sales position. The position will report to the Service Link Supervisor.

The Inside Sales Consultant's responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Call auto dealers to secure ServiceLink applications and to collect information necessary to activate the transfer of data to CARFAX from those dealerships. Assume responsibility for the life cycle of each ServiceLink customer in assigned territory. Outbound phone contacts each day with focus on meeting activation metrics. Represent CARFAX with energy and professionalism. Log all call and activation activities and maintain detailed records of each contact. Work with and become proficient in answering questions for the technical staff at dealerships to implement the program and ensure the flow of data from all participating ServiceLink dealers.

 

Candidates must have the following skills:

Build customer rapport, 2-3 years experience in phone sales, and have the ability to work in a high-volume call center as a closer. Auto industry knowledge, especially related to auto dealers or auto dealer management systems, is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of desktop software applications is required. Limited travel and dealer on-site visits may be required.
