Inside Sales Representative Level 3 Government Channel Team
APCs Government and Education Key Global Customer Segment (KGCS) is seeking highly talented and motivated individuals for the position of Inside Sales Representative to support a field based District Manager. In this position you will be responsible for: - Increasing APCs scope of penetration within the named end-user Government and Education accounts across the designated territory - Mapping Named Accounts and determining the multiple points of influence in the design and implementation of Network Critical Physical Infrastructure (NCPI) - Becoming a trusted advisor in the planning stages for NCPI design within a set of accounts - Working as the quarterback in your Named Accounts in order to help the customer with mechanical and electrical solutions that meet their infrastructure needs - Developing strategic account business plans that will lead to incremental business within Named Accounts - Uncover, develop, and close projects for NCPI Principal focus will be projects based business and uncovering large, incremental opportunities in different parts of the organization, in addition to coordinating efforts to maximize selling efficiencies by partnering with APCs Manufacturer Reps and local High Power Partners. This is an exciting position in one of the largest customer segments in the IT industry. It will require an individual with the following skills: - ability to fully understand complicated end user organizations - map accounts, identify top opportunities related to all APC product solutions - large account selling skills - Outstanding presentation, written and verbal skills - A relentless attitude and desire to win and be a self starter - Inside sales, IT industry, and government market experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have Bachelors degree, in a technical field, or equivalent experience. In depth knowledge of Siebel CRM Application, Data Center Facilities infrastructure, Silcon, PowerStruXure, DC solutions and Computer Room Air Conditioning systems will be given extra consideration. A working knowledge of business process, profit and loss, market strategy, and financial terms are expected. They will also have demonstrated leadership, time- management, advance organization skills, problem-solving abilities, and the aptitude to understand and explain technical information in simple terms. The successful candidate will also have the ability to develop and maintain productive business relationships with assigned accounts. Superior oral and written communication skills are a must.
