Inside Sales Representative (Part Time)

Business Engine is looking for a professional, responsive, motivated team player who will be tasked with helping to grow an exciting company. Successful candidates will have a background in project management and/or experience selling to senior level IT staff. This is a part time position, with an expectation of approximately 20 hours per week. The hours are flexible with part-time schedules both mornings and afternoons. This position is based in San Francisco and will report into the VP of Sales.

The Inside Sales Representative will call upon a set of prospect names and contacts to help determine interest in Business Engine products and follow up on marketing campaigns. The goal of each call will be to establish a qualified point of contact for the BE solution, and ultimately hand off the qualified contact to the field sales representative. Calls will be outbound to existing prospect listing. The successful candidate will help cultivate relationships within a target listing of prospects. An average of 20-40 calls per day, and 10 connects per day, is anticipated, with the use of Salesforce.com to monitor and track all activity.

Responsibilities: Create and manage relationships and work effectively with target prospect listing Ensure the integrity of client information maintained in the database systems Use databases to research and uncover new opportunities within existing accounts Contribute to sales and marketing operations activities

Requirements: Energetic, self-motivated, and positive team player Professional verbal and written communication skills Highly effective verbal and written communication skills--experience dealing with senior IT professionals a must Organized and focused, able to multi-task and prioritize Detail oriented with strong follow-through skills Four-year college degree (BA/BS) required Basic experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the Internet is required. Salesforce.com experience required.
