We are currently seeking a Migration Sales Analyst, whose primary responsibilities include selling hardware and software to an existing customer base in addition to developing leads for new business. This individual must interface with customers, cross-functional team members and other McKesson companies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales of hardware and/or software to facilitate the continual migration of the MPS customer base to the current core product version including upgrade of hardware and software as needed.
* Requires one-on-one contact with customers, primarily phone-based;
* Research and analyze current customer software and hardware configuration;
* Discuss migration options, and review expectations of the migration with the customer;
* Propose add-on components that may be of value to the customer;
* Identify final customer system configuration;
* Work closely with Contract Specialist to create customer?s contract.
Develop leads for Technical & Chain Sales Managers with non-MPS customers, and transition those leads to the appropriate individual(s) to close the sale.
* Generate new customer leads;
* Secure contracts for McKesson products and services;
* Generate new customer leads in both McKesson and non-McKesson customer markets for MPS products and services.
Enhance business relationships with existing customers.
* Note any customer issues, and facilitate their resolution by routing to the appropriate individual(s)/group(s) for follow-up;
* Introduce and facilitate the use of McKesson Printing Services and Retail Transaction Services to prospective customers;
* Assist with the prompt resolution of payment or contract issues;
* Perform and/or assist with contract negotiations as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* 4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience;
* 3+ years sales experience;
* Proven ability to meet or exceed established sales quotas;
* 4+ years experience in hardware & software analysis;
* Ability to discuss technical solutions with customers of all experience levels;
* Customer-focused;
* Demonstrated self-starter.
