OBJECTIVE: To increase Valiant?s profits and market penetration in an assigned territory by maximizing the effectiveness of tools provided by Valiant, using the Territory Manager?s influence, strategy and other skills.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prospect assigned territory database via a large number of ?cold? calls every day. Handle the existing relationships between Valiant and its current customers professionally and effectively to retain the relationship, expanding sales and profitability with those customers. Enter detailed notes on each call and each contact into Valiant?s database, keeping all history complete and intact. Uncover and qualify the needs of prospects. Present products to the prospect that meet their needs. Provide written proposals to prospects when appropriate. Close sales and fill out all paperwork completely and accurately. Expedite shipments when necessary, and provide various other types and levels of ongoing customer service. Exert authority effectively and in the best interest of Valiant, securing customers, sales and profits, and minimizing losses. Expand opportunities by asking existing customers for referrals, and by research to find prospects not already in the database. Create various business related correspondence, and send out various catalogs and other literature aimed at increasing sales and profitability. Represent Valiant as directed by Management with various individuals from management companies, franchise companies, and other companies. Continuously increase product knowledge through research, attending training sessions, and personal study. Limited travel at the direction of Management at Valiant?s expense, which may include trade shows or site visits to meet with clients or prospective clients. Set a good example for other Territory Managers and other Valiant employees. Keep an organized and orderly work space, and keep organized and complete customer files. Follow the established and periodically updated policies and procedures of Valiant.  Other duties and tasks as directed by Management.

Math skills ? comfortable working with numbers and understands markups, measurements, areas, percentages, etc.

 

COMPENSATION: Generous base salary plus commission
