Inside Sales & Retention Representative

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION

The primary purpose and function of the Inside Sales and Retention Representative is to generate revenue and increase client retention with inbound/outbound telemarketing campaigning. Responsibilities also include training and mentoring Associate. Inside Sales and Retention Representatives.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

? Achieve or exceed personal sales goals for OWP.

? Collaborate with team to accomplish overall team revenue goals.

? Educate clients on the value of Wellness Plans and enroll clients over the phone.

? Utilize outbound predictive dialer to drive clients to the hospital for products and services.

? Proactively monitor and effectively respond to lead sources (business reply mail, email and voicemail).

? Train and mentor Jr. Inside Sales and Retention Representative.

? Represent Banfield in a professional and positive manner.

? Maintain accurate records in database for all client/prospect communications.

? Maintain leads and follow-through with client requests.

? Respond to client issues and resolve issues. Respond to escalated issues for the Jr. ISRR team members.

? Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.

? Prepare ad-hoc reports as required.

? Other job duties as assigned.

? Communication skills - Reads, writes and speaks fluent English, using appropriate grammar, style and vocabulary. Correctly spells commonly used English words and job specific terms.

? Organizational ability ? Demonstrates a systematic approach in carrying out assignments. Is very orderly and excels at cutting through confusion and turning chaos into order.

? Problem solving skills - Demonstrates a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems. Unusually decisive in handling difficult problems. Translates problems into practical solutions.

? Client service skills - Consistently ensures the team provides the client with attentive, courteous and informative service. Gains and shows personal satisfaction from delivering great service.

? Intellectual ability - Accurately and consistently follows instructions delivered in an oral, written or diagram format. Can provide directions.

? Mathematical ability - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and to compute rate, ratio and percent; ability to convert units of measurement.

? Computer skills - Comfortably and confidently uses a computer and specialized software.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS

? Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.

? Project timelines and work volume / deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.

? Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.

? The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.

? Environment where Pets are present.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING

? High School diploma or the equivalent is required. B.A. degree is preferred.

? Prefer medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.).

? Ability to listen to clients effectively by identifying key decision making issues.

? Excellent oral and written communication ability - to clearly, succinctly and effectively communicate and educate.

? Professional sales skills and experience in a call center is preferred.

? A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience is required.
