Intermediate  Business Development Manager

 

The development of new business by assertively identifying and pursuing sales opportunities within an identified module of Enterprise accounts. To continually work accounts to ensure retention and growth of business through proactive, quality customer service and the identification and pursuit of on-going up-sell opportunities.

 

 

Essential Functions:

 

 

Account Management
Typically will manage approximately 30-50 customers within a module of 100 Enterprise accounts.
Follow-up with customers prospects and leads.
Coordinates sales call meetings and presentations; create and deliver customized ?standard? presentations
Investigate, assess and identify customer needs, effectively handle objections, close sales
Develop and manage ongoing lead/accounts pipeline
Monitor account production, growth, future needs
Partner with account decision makers to identify ongoing account trends/usage rates, Monster product training needs.
Cultivate relationships, laterally and above the primary contact
Resolve customer complaints/issues by effectively working with the customer relations team to support the customer.
Work collaboratively to coordinate activities with Local Field Account Manager as well as other  Monster Divisions to cross-sell solutions
Provide management with ongoing weekly/monthly forecast and pipeline report
Travel 50-70% of the time

 

Qualifications:

 

?  BS/BA required. Must have 3-5+ years of outside field sales, ?consultative? selling experience. A good knowledge of recruiting and/or the HR function is a plus but is not required.

?  Proven Ability to be creative and tenacious in heavy lead generation and appointment setting on your own as well as client facing experience.

?  Solid transactional sales experience a plus.  Not a complicated long technical sell.

?  Must have charisma and ability to capture a room immediately. Very quick sell.

?  Must be willing to travel and cover assigned market territory; would ideally be located within 30 miles of a Monster office.
